I finally admitted that manual screwdrivers beat power drills for most small jobs
Thinking back, we used to take our time with hand tools and it made each project feel personal. Now, I see folks rushing with drills on everything, even when a simple screwdriver would do better. I think power tools often lead to stripped screws and less care in the work. Why not slow down and enjoy the process a bit more?

Exactly. Watched a neighbor try to assemble a shelf with a drill last week. Totally stripped three screw heads and cracked the particle board. A ten minute job took an hour to fix. You just have more control with a hand tool, can feel when it's starting to bite wrong. Slowing down actually gets it done right.
