A misplaced decimal point on a foundation plan almost cost me a week

I was reviewing a set of prints for a small commercial job in Tacoma when I spotted a dimension that seemed off by a factor of ten. I flagged it with the architect before it went to the site crew, and he confirmed it was a major drafting error. Has anyone else caught a simple mistake that would have caused huge problems down the line?

Ever caught a typo in a spec that would've doubled material costs?

Oh man, "doubled material costs" hits close to home. I once spent a whole afternoon panicking because a spec called for a concrete mix that basically didn't exist. Turns out someone had typed "lbs" instead of "kg" for a weight limit. My boss was not happy about that waste of time. Good catch on your part, @joseph_torres, for spotting that kind of mistake before it goes live. It's scary how one little typo can make a project go off the rails before it even starts. I'm extra paranoid about checking numbers now because of stuff like that.

Yeah, that's a nightmare waiting to happen.
