Pen plotter vs hand drafting for revision sets, no contest

Started using my old HP pen plotter for revision clouds last month instead of hand drawing them every time. It knocked my drafting time down from like 40 minutes to 15 per sheet on a 12-page set for a Reno job. Anyone else still running vintage plotters or am I the only one who refuses to switch to digital markups?

That plotter's older than half the guys on site, but it's still hitting those revision clouds cleaner than I can freehand after three cups of coffee. Forty minutes down to fifteen is solid math, but the real win is not having to explain to the foreman why the cloud looks like a deformed potato this time. These things are tanks, just keep the belts dusted and it'll outlive all of us. Digital markups are for people who like staring at screens while their wrists go numb.
