inUnpopular opinion: That expensive Klein crimper was a total waste of money for me
Oh man, @the_patricia you hit the nail on the head. I bought a high end Klein tool a few years back and it just mangled my coax ends. My cheapo Amazon one still works perfect, so I literally just keep the fancy one in the drawer as a reminder not to waste money. Feels like every time I try to go professional grade on something, it lets me down. But then the no-name stuff from some random seller is built like a tank and never quits. Makes no sense at all.

inWasted $80 on a 'professional' solder station from a no-name brand
Wattage was the last thing on my mind honestly, but yeah that makes sense now.

inRant: Stop calling every short hairstyle a 'pixie cut'
Real pros call that "androgynous cut" instead of pixie, everything has a proper name.

inWatching a facebook comment section boil over about a lost dog last week
Man, that's just how it goes online these days. People see a few posts and jump to wild conclusions before all the facts are out, it's like everyone wants to be a detective with half the story. I've noticed this same pattern in my own neighborhood group, a simple question about a lost cat turned into accusations of a petnapping ring that never existed, and then everyone just quietly dropped it when the cat came home. It's a reminder to slow down and let things play out before grabbing the pitchfork.

inOverheard a hiring manager say they skip resumes with word salad, stopped me cold
Right? I put "synergistic team player" once and still hear about it.
