Tried that viral 'silent checkout' trend at a Target in Austin
So I saw this TikTok about not saying a word at checkout to see if cashiers notice, and I gave it a shot Saturday. The cashier just scanned my stuff and didn't even look up until I paid, then she said 'have a good one' to the person behind me. I felt weirdly invisible and also kind of rude, so I apologized and we both laughed about it. Has anyone else tested this trend and gotten a totally different reaction, like a cashier calling them out?
