Dock worker in Galveston made me rethink my whole cutterhead routine
Guy I've seen for years at the fuel dock said my cutterhead speed was all wrong for the clay mix we're pulling this month, told me to slow it down 15 rpm and let the suction do the work. Tried it on Tuesday and the pump load dropped way faster than I expected, plus less vibration in the ladder. Anyone else get old-school advice that just works better than what the manual says?
