Remembering the week we cleared the old mill channel in '08
The whole crew was in sync, and we pulled out a clean 12 yards an hour for three days straight with the old 8-inch cutter. You just don't get that kind of rhythm on the new, over-computerized rigs. What's the last job where everything just clicked like that for you guys?

Oh man, that quiet focus is something else! I remember one summer patching a long gravel driveway, just the low diesel rumble and the scrape of the bucket. It was so peaceful I almost forgot I was working. That kind of job gets into your head in the best way.
