Found a weird trick for threading conduit through tight spaces

I was trying to pull 3/4 EMT through a 20 foot run in an attic in Austin last week and kept snagging on the insulation every 5 feet. Then an old timer told me to tape a plastic grocery bag over the end of my fish tape before I push it through, and it slid right past all the junk. Anyone else got a dumb simple trick like that for fishing wire?

Tripped over mine in the attic last week and faceplanted right into a roll of it. Looked like a sad, fuzzy snowman for a solid hour lmao.
