My old repair notebooks are full of sketches that beat any app diagram.
Tbh, drawing the board layout by hand helped me remember the circuit. Honestly, it's a hack I still use for tricky repairs because it forces you to slow down and see connections.

That line about sketches beating app diagrams really hits home. When you draw it out, you have to process each connection instead of just dragging icons around. I still keep a grid notebook for complex boards, and tracing the power flow with a highlighter saves me hours of backtracking. Plus, no one ever asks to borrow your notebook because they can't read your handwriting. It's a low-tech fix for a high-tech problem.
