Tbh, drawing the board layout by hand helped me remember the circuit. Honestly, it's a hack I still use for tricky repairs because it forces you to slow down and see connections.

I still keep a grid notebook for complex boards, and tracing the power flow with a highlighter saves me hours of backtracking. Plus, no one ever asks to borrow your notebook because they can't read your handwriting. It's a low-tech fix for a high-tech problem.
