Our pop-up in Chicago hit 300 sign-ups in the first hour

We set up a small activation downtown last Friday. Just a simple booth with a product demo. The team thought we'd get maybe 100 contacts all day. Blew past that in 20 minutes. Ended with over 300 emails before lunch. Anyone else had a small event totally blow past your goals?

The best problems are the ones you didn't see coming.

Last Tuesday, my car's alternator died in a grocery store parking lot. I had zero warning, just a click when I turned the key. @bennett.aaron, you're right, those surprise problems force you to figure things out fast. I had to call for a tow, find a mechanic, and rearrange my whole day. It was a huge pain, but solving it felt like a weird win.

That initial rush is great, but the real test is what happens next week. A lot of those sign-ups are just caught in the moment. The follow-up email you send tomorrow matters way more than the booth count. If most of them don't open it, you just collected a bunch of dead leads.
