The $50 inflatable arch that saved my booth at a Denver expo

I was setting up for a big real estate expo last spring and the rental company dropped off this huge broken arch that looked like a dead snake. In a panic I grabbed a $50 inflatable arch from a party store and it actually drew more foot traffic than the fancy ones around me. Has anyone else had a last minute cheap fix work better than the planned setup?

Bought a cheap banner from a copy shop once. Outdrew the pros by miles.
