That $50 meme course I bought on impulse taught me nothing
Last month I saw this ad for a course that promised to teach you how to make viral memes and get paid for it. I figured hey, $50 isn't much and I love memes, so I bought it. Turns out the whole thing was just a collection of free YouTube videos stitched together with a PDF about copyright rules. I learned more from lurking in this subreddit for 3 days for free than I did from that whole course. Has anyone else fallen for one of these meme money schemes?

stitched together with a PDF about copyright rules" - omg that's actually worse than I imagined lol. Like at least most scam courses try to look legit, yours was just straight up stolen youtube vids. Bet you could report them to the payment processor and get your $50 back if you still have the receipts.

Look, I get being annoyed but is it really worth the hassle over $50? The payment processor probably isn't going to do anything unless there's a pattern of complaints against that seller. You'd spend more time fighting it than the money is worth. Plus there's no guarantee the course creator even used their real name or payment info. Chalk it up to a cheap lesson learned and move on. Most people have lost more than that on dumber things.

The part that gets me is they actually had the nerve to charge $50 for something they clearly copied and pasted from YouTube. At least invest in some original content if you are going to steal from people.
