Vent: I spent $120 on a 'professional' floral frog that just rusted and stained my favorite vase.
It was supposed to be a lifetime buy, but after just a few weeks of using it with fresh water, it left orange marks that won't come off, so what's a better, truly rust-proof option for heavy stem arrangements?

Isn't it crazy how often "professional" or "lifetime" gear is just marketing? I see this with kitchen tools all the time. You pay a premium for something that should just work, and it fails at the basic job. For your vase, the only truly rust proof option I've found is a solid glass frog. They're harder to find and cost more, but the cheap metal ones, even coated, always seem to fail. It feels like we're all just paying for nicer packaging now.

Yeah the "nicer packaging" line hits hard. What specific kitchen tools have you bought that failed like that? I had a "professional" grade vegetable peeler that snapped on a carrot, felt like such a scam.

It's the same with "waterproof" watches that fog up in the rain. You can't trust the label anymore.
