My kid said my drone footage looked like a washing machine cycle

I was showing off some aerial shots of our neighborhood park from my DJI Mini 2, feeling pretty proud. My 10-year-old just said 'it looks like the spin cycle' because I was panning and tilting way too fast all the time. Now I slow every move down to a crawl and the videos are actually watchable. Anyone have tips for smoother cinematic moves with a basic drone?

Ever try just locking the gimbal like @kelly_west74 said and letting the wind move the shot for you?

Ever try just cutting the panning? Let the drone sit still and let the scene move. Sometimes less is more.

Totally agree, a static drone shot can be way more powerful. I used to overdo the movement and my videos felt frantic. A locked-off frame lets the viewer take in the landscape naturally.
