Picked the cheaper fitness tracker and it's been a mess for 3 weeks

I had to choose between the new Fitbit and a cheaper brand called TracMe. I went with TracMe to save $50. The step count is off by like 2,000 a day, and the sleep tracking said I was 'awake' for 45 minutes when I was just reading in bed. I tried resetting it twice, but the app still freezes. Why do the reviews never talk about this stuff? Anyone know a good tracker under $100 that actually works?

That 2,000 step difference is about a mile of walking. Is a mile really going to change your health goals for the day? These trackers are just guesses anyway. The sleep thing sounds annoying, but you knew you were reading. You don't need a watch to tell you that. For under a hundred bucks, you're getting a rough idea, not a lab report.

My old pedometer was more reliable than my phone.

Funny how that works. I always thought phones were better at tracking steps until mine missed a whole day of cleaning. Now I get why people stick with the old stuff.
