Am I the only one who was storing their jack stands wrong?
I always kept them on the floor under my workbench, but last week I saw a guy at the auto parts store put his on a low shelf. I realized having them on the floor meant I was always kicking them and the pins were getting rusty from concrete moisture. Where do you guys keep yours so they're easy to grab but out of the way?

Oh man, I did the exact same thing. Had mine on the garage floor for years and they were always in the way. I ended up just putting a couple big hooks on the wall near my toolbox. Now I hang them by the frame so the pins are facing down, not collecting dust. It's way easier to just grab and go, and they stopped getting kicked around.

I used to have my ramps leaning against the wall until one slid and dented my car door. Now I have two heavy duty bicycle hooks screwed into a stud, about four feet apart. The ramps hang flat and secure, and I can still sweep under them.

Hah, that's genius. My garage floor is basically a tripping hazard museum at this point. Should probably try the wall thing before I break something.
