Finally got around to organizing my socket drawer last week, and I found a 10mm from three years ago I thought was gone for good.

Honestly I used to be the type to label everything perfectly. Then I found my good tape measure in a box marked "Christmas lights" last month. Now I just toss stuff in general areas and rely on memory. It works better for my brain, weirdly.

Bro my friend spent a whole weekend labeling bins for his garage. He was so proud, took pics and everything. Two weeks later he needed a specific wrench and spent an hour looking because he put it in the "misc hardware" tub instead of the "auto tools" one. The system only works if you actually follow it, otherwise you just lose stuff with more steps.
