Pro tip: I just cut a 96 inch piece of tempered glass with zero waste for the first time.
I was doing a big storefront job in Phoenix and the main panel was the full sheet length. Measured it three times, set the score line, and it broke clean on the first try. How do you guys handle the nerves on a single-shot cut that big?

Tempered glass can't be cut after it's tempered (that's the whole point of the process). You must be talking about annealed glass. For a 96-inch cut, I always use a straightedge clamped the full length and a single, firm score with a fresh wheel. The clean break is such a relief.

That 96-inch straightedge clamp is key... what brand do you use? I've had cheaper ones flex on long cuts and ruin the score line.

Thought the same until I tried a Bora clamp.
