My cordless clipper battery gave out mid-fade on a Saturday rush
I was halfway through a skin fade on a regular client yesterday when my main clippers just died, and my backup set was still charging. I had to quickly switch to my old corded pair, which felt super awkward after getting used to cordless. What's your go-to backup plan when your main tools fail during a busy slot?

Been there with the battery dying mid-fade. My main backup is keeping a fully charged second cordless set ready to grab, not on the charger. If both fail, I've practiced with my corded clippers enough that the switch isn't a total shock.

My corded clippers feel totally different in my hand, though.

Yeah, the weight and balance are just off. I keep my corded ones in the drawer as a true last resort, but I have to reset my whole grip and rhythm. Makes a simple cleanup take twice as long when you're fighting the tool.
