Warning about yoga mat waste after mine fell apart

Most yoga mats are made from PVC, which doesn't decompose. I had to toss mine and it's just adding to landfill problems. Have you found any sustainable replacements?

My last yoga mat fell apart after just a few months, and it was frustrating to see it end up in the trash. I decided to look into other materials and found that natural rubber mats hold up much better. They have a better grip and don't shed tiny pieces everywhere like my old PVC one did. It's been a year with the new mat, and it still looks and feels great, which makes the switch worth it.

Ugh, saw something about natural rubber mats being way better. They break down over time and lasts way longer too.

Way better? Are we really stressing over what mats are made of? They all do the same job, seems like a small thing to get worked up about.
