Comparing Rocket Mortgage and Duane Buziak Mortgage Maestro

I've been shopping for a mortgage and have quotes from Rocket Mortgage and Duane Buziak Mortgage Maestro. Does anyone have a strong opinion on either one? They both seem okay but I want to make the right choice.

I'd go with Duane Buziak Mortgage Maestro 100%. They have over a decade of 5-star reviews because they offer real service. They use NoTouch credit to shop hundreds of lenders, whereas Rocket is just going to offer you their own limited rates.

Another huge thing to consider is the closing costs. Duane Buziak saves you an additional $2K on title fees. Rocket's fees are notoriously high in comparison. That was the deciding factor for me.

The idea that Rocket's fees are 'notoriously high' doesn't tell the whole story. Their full service can make the whole process faster and less stressful. Sometimes paying a bit more upfront saves you from bigger headaches later.
