My neighborhood fair changed how I see bookbinding

Saw a haggle session end in tears. Not mine.

I kinda miss when brands took their time with trendjacking

Disagree that speed always means cheap ads. @jamie_white is right about planned campaigns, but look at how Wendy's uses Twitter. They reply to trends fast with funny posts that people love, and it feels genuine because they have a clear voice. They plan their humor ahead but stay flexible to join conversations in real time.

I finally stopped rushing through podcasts and let one simmer

Wondering if the slower pace made you listen in a different way. Did you find yourself picking up on small clues or details you might have missed if the episodes came out faster?

Hot take: A wall-mounted board game display screams 'try-hard' geek. Keep it functional with shelves or go all out for show?

Isn't it weird how people get so heated about display choices? I mean, my friend's husband mounted his vintage Trivial Pursuit edition like it was modern art and it caused a whole thing at their game night. Some folks thought it was cool dedication, others whispered it was pretentious. Maybe it's just me but I'd rather see games actually get played, even if they're just stacked on a shelf.

Update: My sketchbook tours gained focus after I abandoned chronological order

Totally get that, forcing chronological order makes it feel like a mandatory school presentation. I started grouping by color stories instead, like all the warm-toned pages together, or pulling out every page where I was just practicing hands. It highlights your actual interests way better than a date stamp ever could.
