inMy project car taught me that old school tuning beats flashy computers.
Totally! I was just reading an old magazine article about how tuning by ear and feel on a carbureted engine gives you a better gut sense for how everything works together. It said you start to notice little changes in the engine sound that a computer graph might just smooth over. Isn't that the whole point, to actually understand the machine?

inHot take: Getting good at teaching board games made me see that focusing only on winning hurts the group fun.
But see, that's why Monopoly rules. It shows you who can handle tough talks over property trades and who folds under pressure. Your friend quitting just proves the game works, it tests real stuff like dealing with bad luck or making deals. My cousin used to slam pieces too until he learned to talk his way into better trades instead of getting mad. Maybe your friend needs those hard lessons more than anyone?

Ugh, pricing is the worst part. Honestly, you'll have people gasp at a twenty dollar notebook because they're comparing it to a cheap one from the store. Meanwhile, the fancy paper alone cost you ten bucks and you spent three hours folding the pages. Sometimes I feel like I should just charge by the emotional damage.
