My neighbor Sal told me to skip the Tramway trailhead and park at the Elena Gallegos lot instead, and he was dead right

I went up to the foothills last Saturday around 7am and the Tramway lot was already packed with 40 cars spilling onto the road. Sal from two doors down said the Elena Gallegos side has more spots and a shorter walk to the good overlook, and he was right on both counts. Cost me $2 for the day pass, which was less than I figured. Has anyone else switched sides up there, or is there a third lot I do not know about?
