My truck's AC died on the hottest day of the year at the Four Hills light
I was sitting at that light on Tramway for what felt like 20 minutes last Thursday. Temp gauge said 103 and my AC just gave out with a sound like a dying cat. I rolled down the windows but the air was just blast furnace wind. Had to pull into the Sonic on Central and get a Route 44 just to cool my hands on the cup. Anyone else's car pick the worst possible moment to break?

Man that exact same thing happened to me last summer except I was stuck on the interstate near the Big I merge. Heard this weird hissing sound from the vents then it just started blowing hot garbage air. Windows down did nothing but make it worse with the dust and exhaust. Ended up pulling into that Valero on Lomas just to sit in the shade for twenty minutes.

Hot garbage air" is exactly what it felt like, I used to think rolling down the windows was always the solution but that blast furnace wind just made everything worse. Hang in there.
