Agree with @angela_grant, feels like everything's a numbers game these days even outside of posting.

That Denver homeowner who said his last guy used a knee kicker and it looked fine - how many times have you run into that exact claim and then six months later the carpet starts rippling? Do they ever call you back to complain when it happens?

Yeah it bugs me too. Like slow doesn't always mean deep or artsy, sometimes a show just has weird pacing because they ran out of money for that episode. Mushishi gets a pass since the whole point is atmosphere, but I've seen people throw that comparison around for shows that are just boring.

Preach, man. I've got a propane forge sitting right next to my coal forge and I still grab the coal one nine times out of ten. There's something about watching the fire build up and being able to see exactly where your heat is that you just can't get with a gas burner. People talk about convenience but give me ten minutes of tending a fire over fighting with a hot spot that's trying to melt the tip of my blade any day. Your mileage may vary of course but I've never had a propane forge give me that same feel for the steel.

The hard way" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. Is laying concrete really that deep, or is it just mixing mud and waiting?
