My cousin's viral reaction video landed him a call from a news station in Fresno
Last month my cousin posted a 30 second clip of him losing it over a crooked vending machine at a gas station in Fresno. Some random account reposted it and it hit 2 million views in 3 days. A local news producer actually called him for an interview about 'internet moments' and now he's doing paid shoutouts for $50 each. Has anyone else had a family member stumble into this weird fame thing and not know how to handle it?

A buddy of mine had something like this happen with his dad. The guy fell off a ladder putting up Christmas lights and the clip got picked up by some morning show. He did like two interviews and then a company tried to sell him a line of "safety grandpa" shirts. Whole thing fizzled in a month and he still gets asked about it at family dinners. Your cousin should just enjoy the $50 while it lasts.
