Hot take: after 3 months of testing, I dropped Cost Per Click on Meta and it hurt my signups
So back in January I was running ads for my HVAC side gig and got stuck between two options. I could keep buying clicks on Meta with my $1,400 monthly budget, or move that money to a weekly email blast through a local list. The Meta clicks were cheap, like 62 cents each, and I thought I was winning. But when I counted real booked jobs, only about 9 out of 400 clicks ever called me. I switched 70 percent of the money to email and my cost per booked job dropped from $155 to around $48 in 6 weeks. The traffic looked worse on paper but the phone rang more. Anyone else ditch cheap clicks for something that shows up in their bank account instead of a dashboard?
