Cringe ads with 4.9 stars still work, and I can prove it from my bar

A local bail bonds ad runs every 20 minutes on the TV above my bar and my regulars quote it word for word by their third PBR. Anyone else notice the ads we all call stupid are the ones everyone can repeat back, or is that just a dive bar thing?

Man, people repeat dumb jingles because they're catchy, not because the ad works on them. Knowing the words to a commercial doesn't mean anyone's actually calling that bail bonds guy.
