Thought the 3-3-3 rule for rescue dogs was made up nonsense until our beagle mix proved me wrong

How long did the shutdown phase actually take for your beagle? We're on week 2 with a rescue coonhound and she still won't come out from under the kitchen table when my husband's home. Curious if the 3 week mark is when you saw the real shift or if it was more gradual than that.
