We had a huge tub of random toys as kids and I never thought about it until my mom sold it at a garage sale for $20
When I was a kid in the 90s, my brother and I had this big blue tub in the basement. It was full of stuff from different toy lines all mixed together, LEGO, action figures, little cars, whatever. I remember digging through it for hours trying to find one specific piece. My mom sold the whole tub at a garage sale in 2013 for basically nothing. I didn't care at the time. Now I think about how much that tub meant, not because the toys were worth money but because nothing today feels like that. My own kids have a million toys but they're all sorted into sets and bins. Does anyone else feel like the big messy tub was actually better than having everything organized?
