Just realized the $450 I dropped on a contract review saved my whole agency

Six months ago I paid a lawyer $450 to look over a client agreement before I signed it. She caught a clause that would have let them stiff me on the last 30 percent of the invoice and I almost signed it anyway because the client seemed trustworthy. Has anyone else had a lawyer find something in a contract that you never would have caught on your own?
