One bad retainer review cost us a whole week of work last month

A client's former lawyer left a vague but brutal review about our firm on Google, and the client saw it before our first meeting. We spent 5 days answering calls from people asking if we were connected to that mess, even though we had zero involvement. Turns out the review was for a different agency with a similar name two towns over. I asked Google to remove it but they said we had to go through their verification process again, which took another 6 days. Has anyone else dealt with mistaken identity reviews dragging their name down?
