Unpopular opinion: My AI scheduling assistant completely blew a $500 job last week.
I set up one of those new 'smart' calendar AIs to handle my bookings, you know, the kind that's supposed to learn your patterns. It booked a pressure washing job for a client in Seattle for 9 AM on a Tuesday, which was perfect. Except the AI also, for some reason, accepted a job from a different client for the exact same time slot across town. It never sent me a conflict alert, just silently double-booked me. I only found out when the second client called, angry, asking where I was. I had to cancel on them last minute, which cost me the deposit and a bad review. The whole point was to save me time, but I spent three hours fixing the mess it made. Has anyone else had an AI tool fail in a way that actually cost you real money?

That's why I still use a paper planner, tech just can't be trusted yet.

Totally feel you on the AI blowing a job. Same thing happened with my email filter. It was supposed to sort client questions. Flagged a big order as spam and auto deleted it. Missed the deadline to confirm. Lost the whole project. These tools act smart until they cost you real cash. Now I check everything twice.
