My aunt in Tulsa told me my roast potatoes were soggy so I finally tried the air fryer she got me in 2021
She said it at Thanksgiving two years ago in her kitchen in Tulsa, poking at the potatoes I had roasted in the oven for 50 minutes at 400 degrees. I tried her way the next week, 400 degrees for 18 minutes in the air fryer with a shake at the halfway point, and they came out way crispier than anything my oven ever did. Does anyone else feel weird when a relative gives you a kitchen gadget and you ignore it for years?
The guilt of seeing that air fryer box still collecting dust in my pantry could power a small city, so yeah, been there. At least yours finally earned its keep, mine is just a very expensive bread box at this point.
