Pro tip: a $30 silicone liner stops my air fryer smoke alarm from going off

I used to think air fryer liners were a straight waste of money. Why buy something extra when the basket just needs a good scrub, right? But last month I made wings and the grease dripped down onto the coil. My smoke alarm went off for a full minute and I had to wave a towel around like a fool. I finally got a pack of silicone ones for $30 and honestly they pay for themselves in cleaning time alone. No more burnt smells and the basket stays basically spotless. I even reuse them like 5 times before washing. Anyone else have a similar 'why did I wait' moment with these?

Wash them in the dishwasher between uses and they'll last way longer than you think.
