Overheard an inspector's phrase about corrosion today, 5 years in and it stuck with me
He said "you aren't fixing the part, you're buying time for the next guy" while we were reaming out a wing spar on a 737, and now I'm double-checking every hidden drain hole on my next walkdown, anyone else carry that kind of thinking into their own work?
