That one Tuesday where nothing broke and I got to leave at 3 PM
Last month I had a shift where every plane rolled in and out without a single squawk. Not one oil leak, not one cracked panel, nothing. I spent the afternoon just organizing my toolbox and telling the new guy where we keep the cherry max rivets. Boss came by at 2:30 and told me to head home early since there was nothing to do. Has anyone else ever hit that kind of a lucky streak or is it just a myth?

The part nobody talks about is how quiet it gets. Not peaceful quiet, but the kind where your own heartbeat sounds loud because you're waiting for something that isn't coming.
