Got burned by a reused zone label at a 2019 Honeywell panel install in Mesa, and it cost me a call back
Last month I swapped a keypad at a house in Mesa and relied on the old zone list taped inside the can, which still said Zone 4 was a rear slider when the homeowner had moved that door years back. Took me 2 trips to figure out why his kitchen motion kept tripping on the wrong partition during the walk test. How do you all keep zone maps straight on takeover jobs where the old paperwork looks fine but isn't?
