Tracing a fault for hours just to discover rodent damage
I got a service call for constant beeping at a client's place. Checked every door and window contact. Tested the motion detectors too. After pulling my hair out, I found chewed wires behind a wall panel. A small mouse had made a nest there. The repair needed new cables and a lot of time. Customers never think about pests causing alarm issues. It's so annoying to deal with this stuff.

Rodent damage is such a common yet annoying issue! Tracing faults for hours only to find chewed wires is downright exhausting. Those little critters can ruin a perfectly good system without anyone noticing. It's no wonder you pulled your hair out dealing with this. Repairing the damage always takes more time than expected. I feel for you, man, it's a real test of your skills!
