It really depends on your budget and how hands-on you want to be. BrandYourself has a great software tool if you want to do the work yourself, but their managed services are a bit basic.

That magnesium float thing is so true. Had a similar mess last year where the machine just wouldn't give me the right finish on a patio. Out of frustration, I went over it by hand for way longer than planned. The customer loved how it looked, said it had a totally different, almost polished feel. Makes you wonder how much we rely on the battery tools sometimes.

Read something about how our brains trick us into thinking harder tasks mean better results. Like there was this study where people saw a complicated fix as more valuable than a simple one, even if both did the same thing. Makes you wonder if we're just wired to avoid the easy way out sometimes.

My friend totally got the "loses the quick, easy vibe" thing. She made these gorgeous weekly spreads but then felt bad adding messy notes to them. She just went back to simple lists because the pretty pages stressed her out.
