Found out the One Piece anime has been running for over 1,100 episodes and my jaw hit the floor
I was scrolling through a wiki page last week trying to figure out what episode to start on since a friend kept bugging me about it. Saw the number 1,100 and just stared at it for a second. That's more episodes than every show I've ever watched combined, times like three. I always thought people were exaggerating about how long it ran, but no, it really started back in 1999. How do you even decide to start something that big without feeling like you're signing up for a second job?

Wait so you're telling me people actually sat down in 1999 and thought yeah I'll commit to this for the next 25 years? Honestly starting One Piece sounds less like watching a show and more like adopting a pet you can never get rid of. I'd need someone to promise me a medal at the end just to hit play on episode one.
