Tried using a drone to spot a squirrel nest and it went sideways

The drone got stuck in a pine near Tacoma and I had to climb up to get it, only to find three squirrels staring at me like I was the intruder. Anyone else have a wildlife survey turn into a rescue mission?

Squirrels always act like they own the place.

Yeah, they really do... it's the way they just stare you down while digging up your plants. Like I'm the one trespassing in their yard, @joseph_torres. I had one on my porch last week that wouldn't budge, just kept chattering at me. They have zero fear, and it's kind of impressive but mostly annoying. You just have to accept that you're basically living in their house now.

Honestly, the squirrels probably thought your drone was a weird new bird, @joseph_torres. You're lucky they didn't try to stash it with their nuts.
