Absolutely! It's wild how much we miss from ground level. I saw this with my old house, where a normal inspection missed standing water in the backyard that a simple satellite image clearly showed. Makes you wonder what else is hiding in plain sight.

When you called it a "simple satellite image," that got me thinking they're not always so reliable. Those pictures can be outdated or have cloud cover, so they might miss water too (like after a big storm). You really need both ground and aerial views to spot everything, I guess.

hiding in plain sight" is so true. My old apartment inspection completely missed a slow leak under the kitchen sink that warped the floor.
