Finally got the old basement floor sealed after three tries

That epoxy process sounds like the real deal. My neighbor went through something similar with his garage floor, but he had a whole other layer of trouble. He didn't get all the old oil stains out before he sealed it, so now the stains are just permanently locked in under a shiny coat. It looks good from far away, but up close it's a mess. He says he'll just throw a rug over it.

Just fixed my 500th broken screen and the number hit me wrong

Watched my buddy who fixes laptops just lose it last week. A college kid brought in the same MacBook for the third time this semester, screen totally shattered again. My friend just stared at the new case of glass he was about to open and said, "This one's going to be a ghost." He fixed it, but he didn't even put the Apple logo sticker back on. Just handed it over blank. That kind of tired hits different.

My old boss told me to never put a non-compete in our contracts, and I'm glad I listened.

That's a really good point about the legal costs just to start. I mean, ten grand is a lot of money for a small shop to burn on maybe winning. Did your lawyer say if there was anything else you could have put in the contract instead, like a clear rule about who owns the client relationships? Something that protects you without trying to stop someone from working.

I just found out my password reset questions were a huge security risk

Wait they actually guessed it? That's terrifying. I figured those questions were just for show. I started using fake answers after my high school mascot was in a public alumni directory.
