My aunt always gives unsolicited advice at family dinners
Every time we get together, she tells me how to live my life. I tried to change the subject, but she just keeps going. It's exhausting to deal with during what should be a nice meal. I don't know how to set boundaries without causing drama. Honestly, it's ruining family events for me.

Actually you know I kinda see those dinner comments differently sometimes. My gran does the same thing and it used to bug me, but now I figure it's just her weird way of showing she cares. Maybe your aunt is worried about you and doesn't know a better way to say it. Setting a boundary could be as simple as saying "I'll think about that" and then going back to your potatoes. What's the harm in letting her talk if it makes her feel like she helped.

Honestly if I listened to every piece of dinner table advice I've gotten, I'd be a professional accordion player living in a yurt by now. "You should think about that" is my go-to move too, usually while staring at the gravy boat and wondering how much longer until pie.

My yurt's plumbing skills are the only thing I learned from all that advice.
