Paid $40 for a 'magic' wallet that holds 12 cards

Saw an ad online for this slim wallet that supposedly holds a dozen cards without bulging out. Got it in the mail last week, stuffed it with my usual 8 cards, and now it looks like I'm sitting on a folded sandwich. Anyone else fall for a gadget that completely flopped in real life?

Someone actually tried to sell me one of those on the street once, said it was "military grade" or whatever, didn't buy it (obviously). Did yours come with that weird little card that's supposed to "magically" hold everything together, or was that just the one I saw? Kinda curious if these all work the same terrible way or if there's different flavors of disappointment.

Right, because nothing says "magic" like a wallet that looks like a wad of paper towels.
