Got roasted for my ad placements and had to completely rethink my strategy

Last Thursday a marketing guy commented on my video saying my ads were targeting the wrong age group for Aussie viral content. He said I was missing the 18-24 demo by 40% because my timing was off for peak school hours. I changed my posting schedule to 7pm weeknights instead of midday Sunday and my views went up 300% in 3 days. The feedback stung but it totally fixed how I think about audience timing now. Has anyone else had a random comment completely shift their whole approach?

Public shame can light a fire no doubt. But for me, it's not about embarrassment fixing things. It's about finding one person who actually knows what they're talking about. That marketing guy gave you a specific fix, not just a vague insult. Timing is everything online, you can't argue with a 300% jump. The sting fades but the results stick around. Sometimes people just need a single clear truth to snap them out of old habits.
