I finally hit buy on that viral Dyson Airwrap clone, lost $89
Saw the knockoff all over Aussie TikTok for weeks, looked just like the real thing in the videos and the reviews were glowing, so I ordered it from a dodgy site last month. It arrived smelling like burnt plastic and died after three uses, and when I tried to contact the seller the page had vanished completely. Has anyone else been burned by one of these viral product ads, or do I just need to stick to the actual brand next time?

My mate Sarah fell for one of those knockoff beauty gadgets too, same bloody thing reeks of melting plastic after a week. She tried to get her money back through PayPal but the seller had already emptied the account, so she was stuck with nothing but a lesson learned. Now she just saves up for the real deal or checks if the brand stocks in actual stores like Sephora before she clicks buy.
