Shoutout to the bloke who filmed his pet magpie stealing his thongs at Bondi, that video saved my Monday

My week was rubbish until I saw that clip on Tuesday, then my coworker Dave and I rewatched it 15 times during lunch and I actually got through the shift without wanting to quit, has anyone else had a random Aussie video turn their whole day around?

Wait, you said "saved my Monday" but then said you watched it on Tuesday? That's a HUGE difference mate, that's like a whole other day. Unless you meant it saved your week and Monday was just a write-off. Honestly I rewatched it like 40 times myself, the bit where the magpie does that little hop with the thong in its beak is pure gold. That bird is a straight up criminal mastermind, better than half the stuff on Netflix right now. I showed it to my missus and she didn't even crack a smile, so I think you and Dave are the only sane people left.

The magpie thing reminds me of my neighbor's cockatoo that stole my car keys once and hid them in a pot plant. Took me three days to find them, and the bird just sat there watching me lose my mind. @grayc27 you're right about the missus thing too, my wife calls the video "bird nonsense" but I've shown it to like five people at work and they all lost it. That hop with the thong is genuinely the funniest thing I've seen all month, better than any comedy special I've paid for.
